Retail Theraphy vol 17: Daylight
Discovered Grayson Hugh and had to put this CD together, headlining his remake of Bobby Womack's title track . The CD is all upbeat with some smooth base thumpin music you can dance to. Warning it gets a little provacative with "Manage A Trois" by Les Nubians & Jimmy Sommers. A nice after party sound here.Daylightfull.mp3

Retail Theraphy vol 18: Take Five: The Classics
Of course the Dave Brubeck Quartet's immortal classic starts off this CD. The Girl From Ipanema, Walk On The Wild Side, Night Train, are a few of the classics. The Duke, Coltrane, Oscar Peterson, Etta James and Sarah Vaughn make for a lovely group of classic artists. Caution the original "Compared To What" by Les McCann & Ed Harris does contain some language.

Retail Theraphy vol 19: Stranger To Love
This was my first theme CD. Love and its downfall is summed up beautifully in Jon B's "Love Hurts". While Chaka Khan is looking for new love in the title track, Swing Out Sister is complaining about love in "Forever Blue". All together with the deep felt horns of Nelson Rangell and some sobering Maze it's all very nice. Beware of the serious language in the last song.
