Retail Theraphy vol 61: Moon Lite
Back to the romantic days of long walks and soft talk. This is our parent's music, yet it is very nice with todays artists. I had to start off with Louis Armstrong's smooth version of "Overjoyed". David Sanborn melts the heart with "Lisa", while Kurt Ellimg tells of "They Say It's Wonderful". Diana Krall, Michael Buble', Harry Connick Jr, and Frank Sinatra.MoonLitefull.mp3

Retail Theraphy vol 68: Ghetto Tears
From the deepest darkest beauty of Her soul Sh'Killa shares with us the most realistic portal of systematic abuse I've ever heard all the way to the possible tragic result of that life in the title track. N'Dambi brings things in beautifully with the smooth "Lonely Woman (interlude)"; while Kaori Kobayashi soothes us with a child's gifted protection "Children's Dream". Nonchalant comes with what; in My opinion is the best Rap song ever released "5 O'Clock"; followed by a very nice "Eclipse" Paul Hardcastle. Phillip Bailey does a lovely remake of Courtney Pine's "Children Of The Ghetto"; with Euge Groove & Peter White coming together with what every child needs a Love that will "Rain Down On Me". Thank You Bohagon for letting us feel Your pain and understand that to understand, we need to "Walk A Mile". Damien Escobar plays with such beautiful passion, as we know an abusive life is like a "Fuse"; "Sumthin' Wicked This Way Comes" is TLC & Andre 3000 bringing the hardness of ghetto life. Boney James lets us know that "Everything Matters", as Bone Thugs-n-Hamony soulfully pulls us through to "The Crossroads". Then Norman Brown beautifully gives a feel of "My Window To Heaven"....and Craig Mack telling nothing but the truth in "When God Comes".

Retail Theraphy vol 76: America
"America The Beautiful". Mindi Abair brings this journey in with a truly outstanding performance and the essence of what this nation initially intended the country to be....yet on the road there were some very negative diversions; Elton John elaborates in an earth moving tribute to the Native American's struggle with the heartfelt "Indian Sunset". Jeff Lorber contributes with the feel of a vibrant new nation in the seriously beautiful "Anthem For A New America"; "Sugar Trade" is James Taylor speaking of the separation of the nation that to date has yet to end. George Benson lets out a message so real in the classic "The World Is A Ghetto"; "Billy Jack" is Curtis Mayfield's way of reminding us of the constant underlying problem of gun violence. In the voice for the struggle of new arrivals FOG does a wonderful instrumental version of the Simon & Garfunkel classic "The Boxer"; Cassandra Wilson reminds us of this nation's darkest history in the Billy Holiday immortal and deeply disturbing classic "Strange Fruit"....Rick Braun, Tracy Chapman, Euge Groove, Roberta Flack, David Sanborn, Spearhead.
